What I liked
I liked how the actors made use of the space. The stage pictures were excellent. The physical comedy and use of the setpieces at the Hobgoblin to tell the story was great.
What I didn't like
I think that this show was created with folks who already knew Tartuffe in mind— kind of like a Sparknotes version. A new audience member may not know the setting or the characters very well and may get a little lost. But nonetheless, the hard work of the director and actors really shines through, making it a worthwhile watch.
My overall impression
The show was really fast-paced and hit the ground running. It is what it says on the tin- a condensed version of Tartuffe full of slapstick and farce.
