What I liked
Spencer holds you in his blue-eyed grip, with direct story telling, simple staging, and his understated honesty as a writer and performer. Daddy Issues takes you on a journey which is Spencer’s own story: psychologically riveting and hope-filled. The message isn’t saccharine, but it shows that we can all be better versions, fuller versions of our selves, we can all seek love and truth — if we are honest with ourselves, making peace with the past in the process.

Liked the whole approach.
My overall impression
Beautifully written and performed by Spencer Waldner, Daddy Issues is a coming of age, coming out story, told in a heartfelt, deeply touching way.
