The humor landed consistently without ever undercutting the heart of the piece.
There was a warmth and sincerity throughout that made the whole experience feel uplifting.
Spencer, he’s so damn charming.
And on a very specific note: the Pirates of the Caribbean impressions were damn perfect.
What I didn't like
Nadda. Great show.
My overall impression
That was an extraordinary piece. It’s hard not to sound hyperbolic at Fringe, but this genuinely earned it. Spencer created something that was unbelievably funny, deeply heartwarming, and, without sounding cliché, immensely inspiring. It was one of those shows that completely sweeps you up and reminds you why live theatre can feel so special.
