What struck me most was just how deeply I saw myself in his story. Even though these were his personal struggles, fears, and insecurities, they felt like my own. It was a beautiful reminder that no matter our backgrounds, we’re all navigating the same human emotions.
What I didn't like
Everything was amazing
My overall impression
First, the venue itself was a discovery. It was my first time visiting, and the atmosphere took me straight back to my childhood—it felt just like my old ballet school. With its dark, real-wood stairs and exposed brick walls, it was both cozy and pristine. I absolutely fell in love with the space.
As for the show itself? Wow. Just, wow.
As a straight female, I honestly didn’t expect to feel such a deep connection to this story or to find it so profoundly relatable. The performance was a rollercoaster in the best way possible; it had me laughing, crying, and laughing again from start to finish. It was powerful, raw, honest, authentic, and truly heartfelt—a testament to both the brilliant writing and the captivating, outstanding performance.
Please, go see it! Spencer Waldner is such a gifted young artist. I know this is only the beginning for him, and I can’t wait to see what he does next
