What I liked

I loved how present, committed, and energetic that actors were. There’s so much dialogue in this show but they had me on the edge of my seat, hanging on every word as they were so fluid and natural, moment to moment. Even when every actor was silent, they were listening, they were active, they were interesting to watch. Very engaging work.

I loved the opening, immediately bringing us into the game and into the world of these players! So fun!

What I didn't like

I missed some lines that could’ve had more volume/articulation, but nothing that threw me out of the show.

My overall impression

Great work! The acting was fantastic and I am impressed by the writing. It can be challenging to make political topics sound conversational in theatre and not too much like you’re hitting people over the head with the message. However this writing balances that so well. I felt like I was observing a fun and private moment in time with friends. It felt natural. And I think the overall direction, pacing, and momentum of the actors made it work so well!
