Jon in just a span of an hour makes the audience feel like their time isn't wasted and it sure isn't. Jon is not only funny and effective at creating a scary ambience, at his core is a master storyteller. He's the guy you would pick to tell the scary story at the campfire. This was a great solo show and a lot of fun to watch and listen to. ... full review

I loooove this show! It’s SO spooky, and left me wondering why I don’t see more ghost storytelling shows. This show feels like someone telling you their scariest real ghost story, while a mirror breaks behind you. Jon’s passion for the macabre is palpable in this show, and all the scary (and hilarious) elements make this show highly entertaining. But what really shines is a tender, unlikely story about a family coming together. Highly recommend!... full review

I highly recommend this entertaining, spooky and hilarious show. Jon Schnitzer is a gifted comedian regaling us with tales of some seriously scary stuff while also throwing in some bangin' one-liners: scary kids with crayons! (You have to hear it from his mouth to get the joke). Schnitzer deftly guides us from the funny stuff into the dark and back out again while losing nothing in the way of creepiness. I screamed a couple of times and I got so spooked that twice I accidentally reached out and grabbed the arms of the people (strangers) sitting next to me. He got me. Jon Schnitzer f*ng got me! ... full review

Something Spooky is a genre-bending confessional about how a family’s scary stories can be a vital link to our past. Equal parts, funny, poignant, and eerie, the artist’s uses his own supernatural anecdotes to bring new meaning to the saying “they’re here with us in spirit.”... full review

Exactly what I wanted from a theatrical horror show! Something Spooky kept me on the edge of my seat and made me lean in, mouth agape at what Jon was gonna say next. Im a ghost skeptic but this show pushes my needle into believing. Its hard to get truly frightened by stage show but Jon delivers. ... full review
