What I liked
The premise is clever and immediately engaging, turning the idea of a “perfect woman” into a biting critique of societal pressures. The blend of multimedia, audience interaction, and solo performance promises an immersive experience, while the darkly comedic tone makes the serious themes more accessible.
What I didn't like
Since the show tackles complex political and gender-related themes in just 30 minutes, some ideas may benefit from deeper exploration or more nuanced character development. A slightly stronger emotional arc alongside the satire could make the overall impact even more memorable.
My overall impression
Being The Perfect Woman is a sharp, timely solo show that uses satire and dark humor to explore gender expectations, identity, and the social climate in post-2024 America. The interactive livestream concept feels fresh and gives the piece a contemporary edge. I like how easy space waves is to control the arrow. It only takes a tap or hold to change the direction, but mastering the timing is the real challenge.
