What I liked

I will not soon forget a private-made-public moment toward the end (with make-up – no spoilers!) that was highly impactful. I thought the production’s use of live-streaming was effective and haunting as well. The 20-30 second delay in projected video, and the handing of the camera to different audience members to tape the show, offered a subtle symbolism of the central character’s dilemma: how do I be what you want me to be, and still be me?

What I didn't like

I look forward to it growing and getting longer (if the playwright wants that).

My overall impression

Ashley Diaz is a captivating stage-presence who deftly moves from absurdity and comedy into realism and heart. This show is vulnerable and universal.
