What I liked

One line that stuck out to me was about how the character felt guilty for perpetuating gender expectations that didn’t even work for her. I thought the livestream displayed behind her expertly echoed this dark sentiment and was a smart addition to an already stellar show.

My overall impression

The show started out as a silly, intimate, and interactive, satire, making fun of the performance of femininity, but then seamlessly pivoted to more a more serious exploration of gender and self-acceptance. I was in awe of the bravery and vulnerability in both the performance and writing. I adore a show with a fresh take on pertinent social issues and this play is just that.
