The practical effects start the show – Really incredibly thought out and executed – haunting. Which ends up showing as the theme through Laurel Kathleen’s journey. I loved her acting and how real her story telling was with the audience. It was so grounded and goofy at the same time.
What I didn't like
I think there was a light cue that was a touch slow – but that’s theatre, baby. The show was great.
My overall impression
Re-Visitor was a hilarious and honest look at grief and our need for support and community. And such a unique concept that I’ve never seen Fringe do – have it be somewhat of a sequel to a previous Hollywood Fringe show! It’s no surprise with Laurel Kathleen and River C. Johnson create. Always brilliant, always distinctive.
