From the earliest moments of the show, when Laurel explains “So last year at Fringe, I played a c*nty little ghost…”, I knew I was in for a good time. She tells the story of a particularly difficult period in her life with so much humor and honesty, and the entire show is so well done. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but a sequence involving a car ride home and a disappointing stop at Taco Bell were a particular highlight for me.

My overall impression
I left the show thinking about: 1) How we can never really know what someone else is dealing with. And 2) How important it is to show up for the people in your life. Laurel Kathleen is an incredible storyteller, and Re-Visitor is a funny, poignant recounting of her behind-the-scenes experience (both literally and personally) of her first Fringe Festival last year.
