What I liked

Olga’s writing is exquisite from poetry, to prose, to deep conversation, to movement and to dance. Each expression of language opened another part of her heart. She weaved her heart from character, to child, to self, to character again…imaginatively, creatively, honestly and seamlessly.

What I didn't like

At the moment in this version nothing to improve. I would love to see the next iteration!

My overall impression

It took me a day to process the beauty that IS OLGA! The power that IS OLGA! The strength that IS OLGA! The bravery that IS OLGA! Truth, I am still processing as I write these very words. This show is beautiful, powerful, full of strength and bravery. To watch a young girl raised to be powerless become a powerful yet perfectly, imperfect woman and mother is a site to behold. To witness her unapologetically share her strengths, weaknesses, tears, shame, guilt, light, love, hate and everything in between with such grace…is what makes a truly mind blowing solo show! The story is the story, she was the masterful storyteller and we the audience got to become one with her every step of the way!
