When a clown is found dead following a convention, his sister is brought to trial in a very real courtroom. What begins as a straightforward legal proceeding quickly unravels into something far more unstable, as truth proves elusive and justice begins to feel absurd.
Set entirely inside the courtroom, this dark comedy explores how performance and spectacle seep into even the most rigid systems. As testimony accumulates and contradictions emerge, the audience is placed in the role of the jury, tasked with weighing the evidence and deciding the final verdict.
Featuring an ensemble clown cast, audience participation and multiple endings, this interactive play asks a dangerous question: when everything feels like a performance, how do you decide what’s true?
