What I liked
Insanely amazing writing. Grounded, real, in the moment acting. Nuances so smooth & interwoven throughout that the build had me leaning forward in anticipation and then completely caught off guard by the end. THANK YOU!
What I didn't like
I got nothin… maybe a part 2? Absolutely did not want to stop watching as our lead leaves the stage.
My overall impression
Just. WOW! I can not say enough about this show.
It is not easy to write about such a complicated, triggering subject matter with so much humor & heart. As a rape survivor myself, to catch myself laughing? And then welling up with tears by the end… this is easily the best stage production I’ve ever seen in regards to the survivors perspective, while also showing how commonplace this kind of thing has sadly become. Still resonating days later. I truly felt seen. Powerful!
