Everything a fringe show should be - unique, singular, fun, and well-done on all fronts - writing, acting, directing, sound. I don't have to write this as they have one show left and it's sold out but that's how good it is. Do your best to go in knowing NOTHING. In fact, stop reading this now....

Unknown Artists and Pam Eberhardt always bring it, and this did not disappoint. Great performances all around, including the unseen voices on the phone calls that go far in setting up the cozy crisis call center as a place of relative safety in contrast to the rainy, dangerous night outside. Pam and co-writer co-director Dan Testa masterfully keep you guessing about what's going on out there... and in here... or is that a red herring? ...

First of all, I love a good thriller! On The Line delivered on all levels. A solid nod to Sorry, Wrong Number, When A Stranger Calls and Dial M For Murder. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the "bad" person was. Great writing and directing by Pamela Eberhardt and Dan Testa. ...

Wow! On the Line is so well written and directed by Pamela Eberhardt and Dan Testa. It's amazing what they accomplished in just one hour in this thriller/mystery.
The casting is perfect. Jeff Scot Carey is solid and compelling as Randall. Lucas Alifano is charismatic, a delight to watch. He brings a charm and creepiness to Nick --exactly what the role requires. Emily Clark's Hannah is breathtaking. She brings a quiet strength and vulnerability to the character, delivering a performance that is honest, nuanced, and deeply moving. Stanislavski would be very pleased. ...

This play is a great one-act thriller. Even in very lively, upbeat moments it never allows itself to drift into a sense of safety and ease. The performances ride a razor's edge from start to finish, with remarkably sensitive direction for such a frightening play. I kept having to give my arm rest the occasional squeeze of reassurance because something just seemed not-quite-right and I could feel it in the pit of my stomach....

A spectacularly written and directed psychological thriller! The show slowly carves a very disturbing picture, brought to life with unreal (and unnerving) chemistry between the characters, particularly between Lucas Alifano and Emily Clark. As the show advances and the situation escalates, you'll feel the squirming of the characters in your very soul! ...

A masterfully written thriller with excellent performances. I forgot I was in a black box theater and felt genuinely unsettled by the eerie tone and pacing. Perfect for anyone who likes crime dramas, mysteries or psychological horror. Brilliant storytelling all around....

This show is a knock-out. What starts as a fun work-place dramedy spirals into a dark thriller that kept me guessing every step of the way. Don't read anything about it, just go!...

ON THE LINE FOR BEST DRAMA! Finally! A show at Fringe that feels like a practically fully realized, polished, professional production. Would love to see what $$$ would do for a show like this. Could expand it, but it's a pretty perfect 1-act. I left uncomfortable (as intended) and so pleased and relieved that my time wasn't wasted. ...
