What I liked

The second scene was great also. The actors were all were so grounded and believable. I felt for them. I loved the moment between the African American character and guy who made the racist comment. Seeing that resolved was really touching. His regret was displayed beautifully. Those actors were very good in those moments as was the actress who ended up banging him in the bushes. loll. But again, they really were all seriously great. A nice believable ensemble. I’m just a sucker for touching moments. I was truly engaged. Definitely worth checking out!

What I didn't like

Not much. Maybe just more of budget at some point but from a pure storytelling standpoint, it was excellent.

My overall impression

I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. I just found myself getting glassy eyed during the mother daughter moments because you could feel the realness of what, I assume, the writer pulled from. And if I’m wrong, it was just very well written in general.
