I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. Lots of LAUGH OUT LOUD moments! While one show is really comedy-driven with the absurd, the second show pulls at your heartstrings. The dead mother's line about her husband - "He was WEAK" almost buried me there with the rest of the dead - SO funny. ...

Since I graduated high school in 1976 and have MY OWN 50 year Reunion in a couple of months, I naturally related more to the second play... but both were fantastic really well written the first one was super funny and the last one really pulled your heart strings led by the indomitable effortless acting of Michael Dempsey. And then the first play I thought Amanda brought an impishness to the Angel that I would never have thought of myself a brilliant choice! In 2nd piece I Also LOVED that they all had been in Our Town which is about not experiencing life until it's gone....
