The cast is perfect. Zach Feiner brings a complex frustration to the wayward Tyson. Emma Burnside gives a simmering, emotionally gut-wrenching to the grieving Jill. And Tom Szymanski is a spectacular anchor as he wrestles with doubt, anger, and sadness as Quentin. Some of the best use of lighting to tell non-verbal parts of the script that I’ve seen, especially for a relatively low-tech production. And the ending, I can’t stop thinking about it.
What I didn't like
Nothing. This is stunning. Bring it back.
My overall impression
We’ve all had friends who don’t stick around. And that’s a complicated feeling. Three Eulogies for Tyson Miller is a stunningly beautiful look at these complexities featuring a strong script, precise direction, and an absolutely phenomenal cast. Easily one of the most profound, moving productions Ive seen at any Fringe.
