Tom Szymanski is so riveting as Quentin. He captures the essence of that character with precision and takes the audience on a beautiful journey. The writing on this piece is also fantastic. That sinking feeling of “do you ever really know anyone?” was wonderfully executed in this piece.
What I didn't like
The only thing was the actors’ volume. I was sitting in the 2nd row and couldn’t really hear Zach and Emma until about 1/4 of the way into the show. Which is a shame because their work was really lovely!
My overall impression
I really loved this show. The writing was sharp and intentional. The acting was lovely, nuanced, and heartbreaking. The transitions between past and present were seamless. Wonderfully done all around.
