This was an earnest, unflinching portrait of young love--the ineffable, overwhelming passions of youth that leave indelible impacts during our formative years. A story that reminds the audience of that one summer, that one semester, those starlit nights that dared us to take control or be controlled by forces of physical desire, love, drugs, trauma, friendship, freedom.... It reminds us of a time when, for better and for worse, it was even hard to tell the difference....
