What I liked
Bean (Midge Lema) takes you on a journey that will pull on your heartstrings, catapult you through space, and erase any sense of time. I’ve had the pleasure of watching the evolution of this show through the Space Stories variety show and open mic, and Midge workshopping it in Glendale. Each time I am thrust into space and travel through time with Bean, I connect with the narrative. I think we’ve all had our share of evil robot bosses and time vampires. It is absurdist but it is also a love letter to a profound loss. Midge’s performance is kinetic, truthful and fun. The narrative is well crafted, witty and hilarious.
