WELCOME TO HELL

I originally wrote a joke scathing review of this show, trying to match the style of humor of this show, but it didn’t sit right with me. I want to write something that will sell tickets to his show because people will really appreciate seeing this after a long day of fringing.The incomparable Mark Vigeant has created a delightful clown that satires everything that’s terrible about fringe shows. He gets the funniest performers in La to be his guest demons and they try to do the worst possible show imaginable. But, spoiler alert, they can’t do it. No matter how hard mark and his cronies try to be bad, they continue to fill us with delight. I laughed throughout the show. 5 stars... full review

It was pure madness, genius, insane, unpredictable HELL! I sure needed this after fringing all week…to be harassed by Satan was a laugh filled moment and I didn’t know I wanted lol ... full review

I fucking hated it. The devil (Mark Vigeant) is a son of a bitch, and this show ruined my life. I came home so upset about the misery I was put through by all the demons, and got in a big argument with my partner. I slept in the courtyard last night. I'm pretty sure a neighborhood cat peed on me while I was sleeping. I blame Satan. I blame Welcome to Hell.... full review

If hell is anything like this show, sign me up. Mark is a really wonderful clown, and the nature of Welcome to Hell really showcases his talent in mining the audience, AND gives us an exciting peek into his skills with live direction. With a rotating and star-studded ensemble of clown demons that join him onstage to enact your deepest comedy nightmares, Mark's joy and playfulness makes the craft look easy when it's anything but easy. I will definitely be seeing this show again- it feels like a show you really can see 20 times and have a completely different experience each time. ... full review

TERRIBLE! I laughed the WHOLE time! The devil made us feel comfortable to share our most smallest sins, he gave so many a chance to share their thoughts, then he tied them all together so creatively! And the music accompanying it all was FANTASTIC! Grrr!!! THEN had a cast of funny people perform scenes utilizing our most hated things about scenes, plays, improv, etc!! The show was unique and fun!! SO FRUSTRATING!! ... full review
