DUST BUNNIES is a new, heartfelt musical dramedy about growing up and being pulled back home.
When her fiercely independent mother Rosie faces eviction due to hoarding, struggling NYC actress Elie returns to the hometown she thought she’d escaped. What begins as a cleanup becomes an emotional reckoning, as mother and daughter confront years of buried resentment, memory, and misunderstanding. Rosie’s house serves as a battleground and archive, revealing the fears, dreams, and histories they’ve buried inside it. As they sort through the past physically and emotionally, Rosie and Elie are forced to redefine what it means to care for one another, not by fixing the past, but by learning how to move forward together.
Blending humor with emotional honesty, DUST BUNNIES explores family, responsibility, and the courage to find happiness in every stage of your life.
