What I liked
It’s like a little slice of Masterpiece Theatre, served up live right here in Hollywood.
What I didn't like
The most dramatic episodes of the story are in the past (but the retelling is engaging) and in the future. Perhaps there will be a second act someday, in which we see how the things which are teed up in the final scene play out, and hopefully we learn more about Evelyn’s story.
My overall impression
A charming story and delightful performances.
