An incredible piece of writing with a cast that delivers a thoughtful and nuanced performance. I wept during a monologue and got choked up seeing characters navigate injustice and personal relationships with layers of complexity.... full review

Each character was developed exceptionally well, and as the story moved through both heartbreaking and uplifting moments, I felt as though I was experiencing everything alongside them. Although the story takes place over fifty years ago, its themes are still deeply relatable to those of us living today. Of course, we can only imagine the struggle they went through back then. But it made me realize that, regardless of the era, every generation carries its own pain and trauma, even if they differ in scale.... full review

What an amazing play!! The direction and use of space, blocking, pacing was fantastic. Such a personal story told between two decades felt incredibly relevant to today. Without giving away any spoilers - I choked up a few times with the siblings relationship. ... full review

Paper Flowers was one of the most moving productions I have seen this Fringe season. Through inventive theatrical framing and deeply thoughtful storytelling, the play offers a captivating exploration of history and culture while remaining profoundly relevant to contemporary audiences. The production demonstrates remarkable artistry in the way it weaves personal stories into larger historical themes. I found myself completely absorbed by the world the artists created. Beyond its educational and cultural significance, the show succeeds because of its emotional impact. It is beautiful, compassionate, and deeply inspiring theatre that left a lasting impression on me.... full review

Went to see this outstanding work of art Paper Flowers on Sunday afternoon. What a story to be told. It's a thought provoking story of how many ancestors were treated by bigotry and racism. It's heart warming and tear jerking to say the least. The actors were totally amazing. Each actor/actress embodied their character and brought them to Life. It's a must see play with a beautifully diverse cast. Congratulations on a well performed show in 70 mins. ... full review

PAPER FLOWERS - What can I say: Mesmerizing and intense. The topic of racism in 1942 is still prevalent in 2026. The entire cast handled the topic with professionalism and grace. Although at times some of the scenes were not easy to watch through my tears nevertheless, I was hooked on what is going to happen next. It brought back memories of some of the worst times of my life. But still I rose above it as did this production. If you can not handle the truth, I suggest you sit this one out or yet go see it any way you may learn something new. ... full review
