An incredible piece of writing with a cast that delivers a thoughtful and nuanced performance. I wept during a monologue and got choked up seeing characters navigate injustice and personal relationships with layers of complexity....

Very well written play about the complexities of racial tension during ww2 and Japanese internment. Loved the use of space, the characters, & the acting! Special shoutout to the talented actress that played 2 roles in both future and past. Also, loved the inclusion of the Black American experience along side the Japanese American stories. Shoutout to the actress that played Georgia too, she was great! Definitely an intense watch at times, but an important story. Well done!...

Each character was developed exceptionally well, and as the story moved through both heartbreaking and uplifting moments, I felt as though I was experiencing everything alongside them. Although the story takes place over fifty years ago, its themes are still deeply relatable to those of us living today. Of course, we can only imagine the struggle they went through back then. But it made me realize that, regardless of the era, every generation carries its own pain and trauma, even if they differ in scale....

This was a poignant celebration of family, history and the grief that is born from preserving memory. As a community, we cannot forget the devastating impact of Japanese internment and how this experience has situated itself into the American psyche – past and present....

What an amazing play!! The direction and use of space, blocking, pacing was fantastic. Such a personal story told between two decades felt incredibly relevant to today. Without giving away any spoilers - I choked up a few times with the siblings relationship. ...

Paper Flowers was one of the most moving productions I have seen this Fringe season. Through inventive theatrical framing and deeply thoughtful storytelling, the play offers a captivating exploration of history and culture while remaining profoundly relevant to contemporary audiences.
The production demonstrates remarkable artistry in the way it weaves personal stories into larger historical themes. I found myself completely absorbed by the world the artists created. Beyond its educational and cultural significance, the show succeeds because of its emotional impact. It is beautiful, compassionate, and deeply inspiring theatre that left a lasting impression on me....

It was a wonderful production. The play addressed issues that are still current today as well as addressing the prejudice that happened in those times.
The actors were very good and the content of the show was very emotional. ...

Went to see this outstanding work of art Paper Flowers on Sunday afternoon. What a story to be told. It's a thought provoking story of how many ancestors were treated by bigotry and racism. It's heart warming and tear jerking to say the least. The actors were totally amazing. Each actor/actress embodied their character and brought them to Life. It's a must see play with a beautifully diverse cast. Congratulations on a well performed show in 70 mins. ...
