What I liked
The writer, producer, and actress Kate did an incredible job of writing and producing this production. Her, along with her fellow cast members did did an amazing job of bringing this to life, captivating me and immersing me in the production. Numerous times throughout the production, I was transported from being a person in a seat in a theater in L.A. to the actual scene in front of me; I was startled at the startling scenes, laughed at the humorous parts, and became angry and concerned when a cast member did something villainous. The way that the cast and crew quickly and efficiently altered the stage in the dark, and the use of various props was nothing short of incredible, I especially liked the use of the knife prop.
What I didn't like
I don’t think there is anything within the control of the cast and crew that could have been improved. Outside of their control, if they had the resources of a Broadway production, i.e. full and solitary use of the stage (instead of having to share with other productions), and could make the entire stage theirs with full mock ups of things like trees for the forest scenes, dungeon with chains for the dungeon scene, and so on, this production would be world-class.
My overall impression
I thoroughly enjoyed The Secrets of Uvhash-Ra. Writer, producer, and actress Kate along with her cast members and the rest of the production crew were absolutely phenomenal.
