I liked the pace that the play moved; dialogue was neither too stretched out nor too short to communicate the point. Also, the actors worked well within the space on the intimate venue stage.
What I didn't like
There were parts of the show that seemed funny to me and made me want to laugh ( mostly because some of the things the characters did seemed like some of the things college students would do). However, the material was more serious, so I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to laugh. I’m not sure if that was an intentional. If anything, it created a feeling of unease that worked well with the plot.
My overall impression
I liked The Secrets of Uvhash-Ra. One part mystery, one part Degrassi High, it made good use of scene changes and quick dialogue to take the audience through a twisty turny plotline.
