What I liked
How human everyone felt. The play doesn’t reduce anyone to a diagnosis or a stereotype. The residents, the staff, and Corey all felt like real people trying to navigate impossible situations. The cast was excellent!!! It is moving, thought provoking, and incredibly well acted.
What I didn't like
My only complaint is that this was the final performance!
My overall impression
Sage Center is one of those plays that stays with you after you leave the theater. It managed to be funny, heartbreaking, uncomfortable, and deeply human all at the same time. I enjoyed it so much that I came back to see it again!!!
