I’m a fan of the original play and the adaptation works exceptionally well. The odd humor and confusion and intensity and surrealism come across in so much dingy 70s style. Watching Abrams effortlessly tie a necktie is an added bonus.
What I didn't like
Longer pauses so we get more Abrams and Grollman. Go see it.
My overall impression
It’s Pinter meets Dog Day Afternoon with Abrams and Grollman as Sonny and Sal. Loved it. Want to see it again.
