The Descartes runner killed every time.
All of it. It’s a fucking good time.
What I didn't like
I prefer shows with a cleaner through line, a lot of the tangents did not feel connected or paid off. In a future iteration, if there is a more clear connection between bits or a way it all comes together in the end it would elevate this to full comedy genius and not just random genius.
You don’t need to rely on cum and dick jokes. I laughed cause I’m a child, but they felt repetitive towards the end.
Characterwise and storywise it’s hard to create an arc because he’s already at 11, so there’s no where else to go. Some peaks and valleys emotionally would make this even more impactful.
My overall impression
Adam Schwartz is an unhinged comedy genius.
I laughed out loud for an hour straight and I’m not exactly sure what I saw. Nothing makes sense, but that’s kind of the poin.
This will not necessarily have a message, or even make sense at times, but it is the most fun I’ve had in months. 1000% recommend if you just wanna have a good time and not looking to, you know, explore the human condition or say something. This does not mean Adam’s jokes are dumb. It’s clear he’s very smart and his brain is so fast, it just goes to the craziest places first.
