What I liked
Jim crushes in this show, and it was an absolute blast to get an inside glance regarding the captivating minutia inherent, scattered all around within the cherished oddity we know of as “seasonal caroling” that… let’s be honest, most people love, but have never truly thought about how the “sausage gets made.” I loved how Jim spelled out exactly the ways “caroling” differs, and rather significantly too, from other types of vocal performance, and how, every-single-year, the task proves to be an unexpected rude awakening for many singers who are new to this. I personally have been on the fringes of this art-form in our culture over the years, and have caroled in the past but never at the intense level of Jim and his companions, and I learned a lot throughout his show. It was heartfelt, unique, fascinating, and a lot of fun. Well done!

My overall impression
A thoughtful, innovative, compelling, and hilarious take on the intense process that a life-long caroler must go through every-single-year, and the truth of what it really takes to make that magic happen in December that most people completely take for granted.
