What I liked
I absolutely loved everything. I loved how the months dinged on as he prepped for his big season. I loved his changing on stage and with each piece he put on he bacame more and more Christmas. I love a swear word and I loved that he was a little like Naughty Santa. I loved the direction of the piece…it was a count down to Christmas and I loved that. Hallmark does Christmas in July for a reason…because we freaks love it. I think this could run all year around. This show is a MUST SEE!
What I didn't like
One thing and again it is only because I am a die hard Christmas Freak. I wanted him to be drinking out of a festive cup instead of a random bottle. Picky I know, but even one of those Christmas Palm Tree cups so it splits Christmas with the summer as you build towards your Caroling Season!
My overall impression
Happy! Merry! Joyous! Inside and out…oh wait…inside the mind of a caroler, left me Happy, Merry and Joyous. I just saw it and I am reeling with light inside and out. I am a sucker for Christmas…I love it all and this brought me right back to my favorite time of the year and it was absolutely brilliant! Damnit Jim…you blew my brand new socks and underwear right off! Thank you for your honesty, your wit, your depth, your humor, your light, your laughter…your happy, merry, joyous.
You are a true triple threat, actor, singer, storyteller. I loved every minute and I found myself laughing out loud for real and several moments had tears welling up…you shared your soul and the thing that makes you truly happy. You did not miss a beat.
