I wouldn’t change a thing. I would very much look forward to a longer version of this piece someday.
My overall impression
Cindy Is Right Now establishes a magical sense of possibility the second you sit down. It’s an incredibly refreshing and deeply moving piece of interactive theatre. Lacy Allen is extraordinary. She is one of those rare, magnetic creators who completely commands the room with her unique sense of presence…and this makes it very easy for you to fall in love with the title character “Cindy.” The interactivity feels organic and it’s wonderful how incredibly safe and thrilled the audience feels to be involved. Lacy builds an immediate, trusting community in the room.
