The lighting changes in the reflecting scenes where she pretended to be different disappointing men. I really liked she didn’t try to portray Jeff in a similar way, it felt like an honoring to his image to talk about him and not pretend to talk through him.
What I didn't like
This is so silly but I think all the men had J names and lowkey sometimes I got them switched up in my head. It’s probably just a me thing tho
My overall impression
Such a well-rounded story about womanhood, grief, and the unique perspective of seeing everything but never being listened to. I was happy to listen and hear some of my own thoughts and have my mind opened to the parallel struggles every woman experiences that are slightly different from my own but in the same genre, if that makes sense. (sorry if it doesn’t)
