What I liked
I loved Lucy’s timing, the use of space, and the metaphors imbedded in every sequence. Everything was sharp, intentional, and asked the audience to lean in throughout!
What I didn't like
The lighting blackouts at the end made it seem like the show was over, before it was. I wonder if there is a potential technical adjustment to honor the play, while making it clear to the audience that action is still taking place!
My overall impression
Lucy is a fantastic writer and that really shined in this piece! She let us all into her world with ease.
