I loved the physicality of it all. The animated expressions and commitment to rollercoastering between being dryly bitter and frantically unhinged! You really feel like you’re watching someone settled in at home spiraling.
What I didn't like
I would just encourage experimentation with even more practical effects or special effects if possible, there were great moments especially towards the end that really drew you into the scene ultimately over all. I suppose the audience could do their best to not hack up a lung coughing but alas that’s out of the production or venue’s control.
My overall impression
This show was a unique quirky take on losing your marbles and coping with life’s many curveballs. I left with the impression that this was really about what so many of us go through trying to make it when the societal stage is dysfunctional surrounding dating, career, and maintaining good mental health. Lucy made going bananas warmly understandable even when the darker angst was palpable.
