What I liked
I really liked the framing device of the show! You never know what to expect with a one woman show, but I thought it was so clever how the break in aspect allowed the story to unfold and to Lucy to slowly unwind.
What I didn't like
I thought maybe there could have been a bit more variation in the tone, but otherwise I found this really engaging!
My overall impression
This was such a fun, unique show with lots of spunk, character, and heart. Lucy really spoke to the anxieties that we all carry so heavily today — the pressures of work, the trials of dating, the weight of processing a traumatic loss. It was so relatable and I’m glad it ended on a hopeful note.
