What I liked

I thought the music as great. I keep thinking of how good the lighting is as it really helped the mood shifts but also made me feel at times that i was actually at a concert. The casting made me wonder if these characters were really people playing themselves or just really spot on casting. All the characters have an arch, not always an easy thing to to….Telling this story in 60 minutes would usually leave me feeling that a few gaps in story or arc are missing but the story with song seemed seamless.

What I didn't like

The technical sound could have been a little better. Sometimes I could not tel if it was thee microphone or speakers, but sometimes hard to make out lyrics.

My overall impression

Very much delighted by the story and music of this show. I found myself emotionally invested by the end as it sort of snuck up on me. The story is told in music as if it were at a rock concert in the 60’s so it’s not the same old musical singing it at you. Some really good songs, a couple catchy tunes I found myself humming after the show. It made me think of that contemporary saying that’s already a trope about “living your best life”, but this story shows us what that journey is like to get there. The lighting was very evolved for a show of this size and production.
