The music was catchy, entertaining and pushed the story forward. While the performances themselves were thoughtful and nuanced along with the script. There were times when we cheered, and times when we cried, when we realised that hope lies in redemption just as much as it does our good deeds. I loved that it took place over the course of 1 concert too!
What I didn't like
I primarily had audio issues with the performance, and perhaps the incorporation of scenes that could act as flashbacks rather than pulling the cast off stage each time. But the suspension of disbelief was never fully affected by that.
My overall impression
It was a brilliant story of love, betrayal, and hope at a time and a place that mirrors our current day – Woodstock.
