My overall impression
The pen really exists. This is a real thing, during the performance I thought it was just part of the story- but once they started reading the reviews I realized, ‘Holy crap they they’re serious.’ A inventive take on theatrical storytelling it became more of a discussion then a performance. Although it was a performance with some fun zingers and thoughtful structure, this change in gear was definitely appreciated.
Always glad to see a show that actively takes on issues, and for a great cause as well!
