Come get meta with two different hilarious wild rides on different dates by a couple of our spectacular company members:
This Is Artby Tony Bartolone (Saturday 6/20 @ 11:55pm and Sunday 6/28 @ 2pm)
Have you ever pondered the great mysteries of the universe? Like who invented ice cream and how? Or what does it mean to be in shape? Was Willy Wonka a convoluted conspiracy to fatten kids up while also normalizing unpaid labor? Don’t you want fucking answers? If your answer is yes, this is the show for you. If your answer is no, you will also greatly enjoy this wild ride. Tony Bartolone has been wowing audiences for many years all over Los Angeles and beyond with his dice-rolling, gut-busting, fun-loving, devil-may-care brand of standup comedy. Come join the party as he prepares to film the standup special he has been honing over the past 3 years!
Where IsShe?by Serena Anis (one night only: Friday 6/26 @ 8:30pm)
Serena Anis’s LATEst solo-show (this is a pun—IYKYK, if you don’t, you will at the show)! Prepare yourself for some surprise shenanigans at the beginning (woot! woot! (yes, we are bringing back “woot! woot!” (but only in text))) followed by relatable reflections on her refractions of emerging adulthood told through “A Christmas Carol” style ghosts of 20, 25, 30, and 35…this show was first developed through “Playing Yourself” at The Elysian Theater with their wonderful Artistic Director Jacquelyn Landgraf! Serena is excited to be bringing a new solo-show to Hollywood Fringe for the third year in a row. Her past Fringe shows include Prom Queen of Hell!!!, Me Be Me, and the sketch-comedy show BUGS! (winner of Best Comedy HFF ’23). Also catch her in Club Clown at the Broadwater Main Stage on 6/24 at 8:30pm!
Both shows are Pay What You Can for Fringe Participants
