The writing is in turns hopeful, insightful, and gleefully demented, and the dialogue and action play out onstage as tight as a drum. (This was a preview with way more polish than most Fringe fare.) The lead actors—also the writers—have a natural chemistry that you can’t help get rooting for. JJ Obee is wildly relatable as the panicked-yet-pragmatic commitment phobe Andi, and Grant Terzakis as Trevor is her perfect foil, with his goofy enthusiasm that’s impossibly endearing given the circumstances. Terzakis’s antics and Obee’s grounded realism—supported aptly by the additional cast in their memorable roles—meld into a deeply lovable little show that’ll leave you wanting more.
What I didn't like
I greedily want more. Full length play? Film?
My overall impression
DO NOTMISSTHISSHOW! This charming & hilarious piece of theatre is an absolute standout. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll ponder your mortality, you’ll wonder if that dude’s head is okay…
