I loved the simplicity of the story- a father and daughter trying desperately to reconnect and rise above the carnage of their resentment, regrets and blame. I loved the use of the clowns when the dialogue got too intense and we needed a laugh, or clarity was needed or just a moment to breathe and acknowledge the desperation and urgency that was palpable. At each moment, I was rooting for these two broken souls to reconcile and rediscover their love for each other.
What I didn't like
Everything worked…maybe an additional 5 minutes?
My overall impression
Engaging, heartbreaking, pulls you in from the very second you take your seat.
A deeply personal story heightened by props, blocking, and spectacular clowns.
