What I liked
Strong performances and a devotion to the lore that’s been created was very refreshing. The set and costumes were also very imaginative.
What I didn't like
The technology featuring the phones and the augmented reality could a little wonky sometimes. Personally, I also preferred to watch the show without using my phone but that’s just me.
My overall impression
ROOT is an interesting take on the sci-fi idea of transporting your soul to a digital interface. It swings for the fences and features a strong cast ready to jump into the fray.
