If you love dogs, this is the show for you! A very sweet and somber show about two dogs in the shelter system from different perspectives, including the dogs'. I learned a lot about the shelter system and the stress that can lead to "bad" dogs. It made me want to volunteer!... full review

It’s bold to tackle our country’s decaying capitalist system through the local community of a dog shelter, and in other storytellers’ hands it could have missed the mark. But Pit of Hope does it so beautifully and wisely that it’s the only way this story could have been told.
