Alberta Alberta is so timely it's uncomfortable, in a good, self-reflective way. A lonely guy uses his AI assistant to try to find human connection through the thing that's replacing it. It's funny, sexy, and surprisingly sharp, pulling the curtain back on how we use and hide behind technology. It really nails the irony of reaching for real intimacy but grabbing your phone instead. I was truly blown away. This two person cast was flawless, grounded and real. The direction was so on point, he took every detail to heart. I did not miss a beat and I wanted more. I must say, for what was essentially a one-man show, Alikhan was phenomenal. He delivered an excellent performance and kept the audience engaged from start to finish. His honest and thought-provoking presentation on the reality of AI and its impact on mental health was both insightful and eye-opening.
