What I liked
The intimacy of the theater’s space worked well with this inspirational production.
What I didn't like
It was somewhat distracting when audience members arrived considerably late, but it didn’t seem to affect Kathy’s performance at all.
My overall impression
Kathy shared the most intimate details of her personal experience with domestic violence and moreover, her survival, with grace and humor. She engaged us with her charming manner of storytelling , making us feel like we’re close friends catching up on a period of her like that we’d missed, evoking both tears as well as laughter. This was an hour well spent.
