“Provides space…to witness, to grieve, to feel, to move” -The National, Scotland

A dramedy solo show, which charts humanity’s spectacular downfall. Asheerah is the Last Palestinian alive. Wrapped in a shroud, she wakes up in 2055 and finds a friend, a hologram that carries the consciousness of Italian legal scholar and expert on human rights, Francesca Albanese. Asheerah learns, through Francesca’s history channels, how the world ended, and how those who resisted carried out justice before their demise.

Randa Jarrar is a queer Palestinian author of three books. She has actively resisted empire through her award-winning literary work for the last twenty years. While grieving the martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians, she was moved to keep their spirits alive through theater.

The Last Palestinian, her first one-person show, debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest in 2025.
