What I liked
The overall ensemble stands out as a strong group of actors. The play is also not afraid to show the disturbing underbelly of these shoots. And if that makes you uncomfortable, take another look at yourself.
What I didn't like
Some pacing and volume issues but that’s really it.
My overall impression
Have you ever seen a vertical and thought…what is this? The Vertical is a raw exposé on a controversial chapter of filmmaking filled with refreshing humor and fun performances. Dee Vlachos always brings tough questions to the table without shying away, and this is a great example of that.
